Stacy is a Wife, Mother, Author, Educator, Entrepreneur, Choreographer, Speaker and Life Coach. Though she wears many hats and has many gifts, God has provided numerous opportunities for her to flourish in all of them. Stacy has traveled the world as a professional dancer performing in Singapore, Honduras, Diego Garcia and Japan. She has studied with some of the world's most renowned choreographers and instructors and has attended intensives at Alvin Ailey and Steps on Broadway. As a young dancer, Stacy's parents invested in her gift and provided opportunities for her to learn and grow. She auditioned for elementary and junior high Magnet programs for dance and was accepted. As a 12-year-old, Stacy made history as the first African American in HISD to receive the lead role of "Clara" in the Nutcracker Ballet and was accepted and attended The High School for Performing and Visual Arts. Stacy is a 14-year Educator with a Masters  in Educational Administration. She is passionate about teaching and is an advocate for underprivileged youth. She understands that not everyone can afford a quality arts education and her establishment of The Diversity Arts Project, Inc. will pave the way for visual and performing artists of all backgrounds and economic status to receive opportunities to create and collaborate.
